WEDDING CEREMONIES
As part of the wedding ceremony process, I meet with the couple, listen, ask questions and get to know them better as a couple. I send them a set of questions to be filled as a couple prior to our meeting, to get them thinking about what they actually want, which is designed to be fun, helpful and get to know each other a little more than they already do.
I let our shared understanding of the kind of ceremony they want, who they are individually and as couple, and then after the meeting I give space for the conversation to come to life in my mind.
From here, I think about their wishes and personalities, in order to craft a ceremony celebrating their love and personal memories. The theme may be funny, romantic, serious and/or personal to them and/or their family and friends. An initial draft is created and shared with the couple; they either approve the draft or make additions/omissions to their specific needs; I edit and resubmit for their approval, and when we have the right service for them, I format a booklet of the ceremony and offer a copy to the couple after the service.
The ceremonies I do are specific and directly relate to the couple, their courtship, their love and their hopes for the future they will spend together.
