Bride and Groom Thoughts on their Ceremony

How can I possibly even begin to write a review that will accurately depict how wonderful, involved, thoughtful, brilliant, hilarious, genuine, loving and joyful you are. How am I able to describe to everyone reading this the breathtaking impact that you had and continue to have on our big day and in our relationship. First of all, if you are reading this and thinking about utilizing Launda's services - think no more, TAKE THE PLUNGE. It is something that you will thank yourself for later! I have had the pleasure of knowing and adoring Launda for the past 7 years. First as her Yoga student, then as her friend, and I can tell you one thing - she is the most sincere and loving human being that I know. She is wise beyond most and is absolutely the best listener that there is. When I learned that Launda officiated weddings I was instantly overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude. I knew that one day I would ask Launda to pour her love and light into my wedding ceremony (and I knew this before I even knew my now husband).
Because of who Launda is, this decision was the easiest and best that I ever made, outside of choosing my now husband. Throughout the process she became more and more invested in us, our relationship, our love, our goals and so much more. We live in Florida and Launda was gracious enough to host us in her home for an evening filled with laughter and wonderful discussion. For hours we talked about life, for hours she listened and learned about who we are as a couple, our strengths and weaknesses, our trials and tribulations, what we admire in each other and why we were making the step to become one. Launda took the hours of conversation, and the understanding of what was so important to us - and turned it into the most beautiful wedding ceremony I have ever experienced.
Our ceremony was filled with the essence of our love and commitment. our joy, our excitement and was the perfect starting point to our forever.
In the nearly three months since our wedding, I have re-read our ceremony at least 5 times. The fact that Launda carefully created the foundation for our marriage with such care, love and honesty consistently blows me away.
I have had so many people tell me how amazed they were by our ceremony. So many people telling us that it was their favorite because it felt like an intimate conversation between my husband and I - they could feel our love and commitment. They laughed, cried and "were in awe" of who we were as a couple and could feel how confident we were.
Launda puts EVERYTHING she is and has into your big day. She knew how much I love and admire her stories and teachings, she incorporated those into our day as well. Privately after the ceremony she shared with us our Marriage Certificate, which was BEAUTIFULLY created to represent our lives - and now proudly hangs in our home as a constant reminder of our commitment; she also shared with us a book that she hand made, which was filled with positive sayings and love, this to be read as needed to bring light to our day.
The point being, Launda will create the perfect setting for you to become one. She will listen to you and your future spouse. She will get to know you and your love, understand what you want to portray and customize everything to create what will become the foundation for your marriage.
We could not recommend Launda any more than we do, we absolutely love her, we feel her light and love with us at all times, and are forever grateful that she is a part of our marriage, commitment and lives.

“Launda and her carefully crafted, incredibly personal ceremony were such a necessity to making our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be – an honoring and celebration of love as well as a acknowledging families coming together. Months prior to our wedding we expressed to Launda how important it was to us that our guests knew that our celebration was not just for us, but for them, and that we would like our guests to be encouraged to mingle and make connections since they are all so important to us. Launda wove that in to our ceremony so seamlessly and joyfully that it actually worked and instead of our guests minding their own business at their tables or only talking to the people they already knew, everyone got to know each other making our wedding described as one big “love fest.” As I made the rounds greeting the overwhelming amount of familiar faces, the most frequent comment from my guests was, “That was really the most beautiful, unique, and personal ceremony.” I was actually told multiple times that people felt like they actually knew us better after it. As if it couldn’t get any better, Launda also handcrafted a work of art marriage license that wasn’t just beautiful, it also symbolized something meaningful to my husband and I. It is just so special and unlike anything I’ve ever seen.
I should mention that my (now) husband and I are in the wedding industry ourselves, performing wedding videography. So not only do we experience far more wedding ceremonies than your average person, we also relive them over and over again while we edit. Needless to say we had a lot to compare our own ceremony to, and I’m sure I am biased because it was ours, but I’ve rarely seen any ceremony be so fluently, and intricately woven with a couple’s past, present, and future. Our wedding was completely DIY, I had so many things to do / worry about, I was by no means a carefree bride just enjoying her day until our ceremony where Launda brought not just me and my husband, but all of our guests back down to earth, to what it’s really about, and just set the tone for one big wonderful love fest of an evening. We couldn’t be more grateful to her.

We are pleased to recommend Launda Wheatley to perform a unique and personal ceremony customized to the pair in which she is providing such wedding services for.
After selecting her via referral to perform our ceremony, Launda took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple. She asked us to share about our relationship, goals, careers, and families. Although she was a stranger to us at first, it took no time at all for us to feel as though we’ve known her forever.
Launda didn’t limit us to one specific format when creating our ceremony. She allowed us to pick out poems and readings that she would incorporate, and she added her own personal touch to our vows that were sweet and fitting to our relationship. She provided many options and recommendations, and accepted our input and revisions to her original draft. With her services, Launda even created a beautifully customized wedding certificate based on something special and unique to us. Her complete process is very creative, thoughtful, and organized.
A short while after working with Launda, I had expressed some apprehension I was feeling regarding the ceremony format. We are normally private and reserved, so incorporating personal experiences about our relationship into our ceremony was originally out of our comfort zone. After discussing these concerns with Launda, she provided reassurance that the personal touches will create a more meaningful experience for us, and allow family and friends to understand our love on a deeper level. Launda even went beyond our expectations and scheduled a private session with her to show us breathing practices that help us feel calm and controlled in front of groups of people. These practices were not only effective on our special day, but will be useful in every day life as well.
After several meetings with Launda and a detailed rehearsal, we felt confident and peaceful on our wedding day. After the ceremony, we heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests. One family member said her voice was soothing like a lullaby, and another said it was the best ceremony he’s ever witnessed because it was perfectly tailored to us.

In December 2015, Launda officiated our wedding. Our ceremony was personal, warm, humorous but respectful. Launda helped us balance our request for a spiritual but non-religious ceremony because she spent time understanding exactly what we wanted. After our ceremony, all our guests commented on how much it embodied my husband and my personalities. Most said it was one of the best ceremonies they had attended. During wedding planning, all the books say the ceremony will fly by and you won't remember much. However when an officiant as talented as Launda helps guide and execute the ceremony, it is truly magical and unforgettable.
